So 2016 is almost here! I always wonder at the start of the year, what the year will bring. I'm hoping this
year is as good as the last! 2015 has been an incredible year full of many memories and I hope next year will be the same!
I don't often do new years resolutions as I always forget what they are during the year! I hope this year that my resolutions will be remembered & achieved. My first resolution is to spend more quality time with friends and family. 2015 has made me realise that people change as does their health, and you need to make the most of what you have, whilst you still have it!
Another resolution is to spend less time in front of screens! I have realised how much time I spend in front of a screen, and I couldn't even spend a full day away from my phone! I think this needs to change, I have as well as many others become addicted to screens & technology, and it's taking over my life!
Another resolution is to become more independent and learn life skills. I am planning on going to university in September, and independence is such an important thing when you move away from home, as are life skills such as managing money and washing clothes!
In 2016 I want to have more 'me time'. I want to spend more time doing the things I love such as reading & photography and take time to relax!
I feel like one thing I lack is confidence. I want 2016 to be the year that I learn to love what I have and gain confidence! I have learnt that confidence is such a vital thing in life, and if I want to be a successful teacher, it would help!
My last resolution is one that I think most will relate to, and that is to care less about what others think! Does it really matter how many likes you get on a selfie? Not really. Does it matter what someone thinks of your outfit? Not especially. I think as long as you are happy, then go for it! It's your life, don't let anyone control what you do.

2015 Review
2015 brought laughter and tears on many occasions. I feel like 2015 has been one of the best years for me personally. I can tell that in myself I have been a lot happier and so many things have gone right, or if not, I've looked on the bright side! The best memories from the year include the four concerts I went to (Ariana Grande, 5SOS & Union J twice), celebrating my 18th birthday with friends and family and spending quality time with friends and family. I feel like this year has really highlighted to me the importance of friends and family and having someone to talk to.
January, February, March
I feel like these are the quiet months of the year. Nothing seems to happen during these months. It's like the Christmas cool off months where your still recovering from a hectic month!
April
April is the month of my sisters birthday, and so we celebrated with a sleepover...what a surprise! Apart from this my April was a quiet one! However, with the weather improving I was starting to spend more time outside!!
May
I think May was the month I took my exam, if not it was June but anyway! I then later found out that I had passed this exam, yippeee!!
June
June was a busy month! We started off on the 4th June with the Ariana Grande concert with friends. Her vocals are incredible I must point out! Then on the 9th June was the Rock Out With Your Socks Out concert (55OS). Again another incredible concert!
July
In July I finished college for the summer and began to relax at home spending much needed time relaxing! I spent more time outside, attempting to get a tan but failing miserably!
August
August saw me and my family going on holiday to Lynton and Lynmouth. We had a lovely time spending quality time together as a family, which I must admit, doesn't happen often enough!
September
September was the return of college, with a new year came more work as early as the first week. I also went to Union J at Talentfest and I got front row! I wrote a blog post on this concert, so go and check it out!
October
October is the month we celebrate my brothers birthday, this year he had an outdoor party at a local place, where they play several games involving both children and parents. I was chief photographer for the day, and I got plenty of great embarrassing shots of parents! It also saw the celebration of a friends 18th birthday, she decided to have a disco dome, not really my style, but it was a fun night regardless! It also saw another Union J concert where I also got to meet them for the second time woo!!!
November
November was another quiet month, we started the preparations for Christmas and my birthday.
December
December is a busy month anyway but we also have 5 family birthdays! I celebrated my birthday by having a meal with my friends, it was a lovely night and I was well and truly spoilt! I have wrote a blog post about what I got for both events so go and check it out!!!

What I Got For Christmas And My Birthday!
I am not doing this post to brag or show off, I am doing this post because personally I really enjoy seeing what others have got, so I decided I'd let all of you be nosy. Also it's a good way to get to know someone as you get to see their likes!
For Christmas, I only got little things. I got lots of Zoella Beauty and Tanya Burr Cosmetics products. I also got lots of bath/shower products. My favourite Christmas present is the Zoella Beauty Awesome Drawersome.

My birthday is the 28th December, and this year it was my 18th birthday, because of this I was spoilt! I'm only going to include a few of my favourite presents to tell you! My friend proved how well she knows me and got me a Krispy Kreme card for me to get a donut every month for a year. I got the Anna Saccone Capricorn necklace from my family. I really like this necklace, and I got the card that comes with it signed by Anna herself! I also got a charm bracelet from a family friend with the first letter of my name on it. Now the biggest present of the day, I wasn't given till my birthday meal with friends. I had no idea I was getting this present. My family surprised me with sound check tickets for 5SOS in April.
I am so grateful for everything I was given on both days, and every gift/card no matter how big or small was perfect for me.

Tanya Burr Cosmetics Advent Calender
This year I wanted to get more than just a simple chocolate advent calender, so I decided to get the Tanya Burr advent calender. I really liked the look of this calender, it is decorated as a house, with pink as the main colour. There is also some glitter at the top of the house, but it is stuck to the box, and doesn't come off!I also really like all the products that come with the calender. They are all of a high quality and are all usable products! In the calender you get 2 nail varnishes, 2 sets of eye lashes, 3 lip glosses, a mirror, 2 shimmer pots and 2 nail files.
The only bad thing about the calender is how difficult it is to get the products out of the plastic. I had to wait till I had finished opening to doors to get most of the products out at the end.
I would always recommend Tanya Burr products, although for some they may be slightly pricey, they are really good quality and are a nice size and come in lovely packaging!

Christmas Essentials
First of I want to apologise for the lack of posts, I've been busy applying for university and going to interviews along with doing college work. So life has been very busy indeed! Anywaty, on with the post! There are many things that I make full use of around Christmas, and I wanted to share a handful with you!
One thing I make true use of during Christmas/winter months is hot chocolates. Nothing beats coming in from a cold day and having a nice hot chocolate to warm you up. I prefer my hot chocolate made with water, and my favourite powder is the Galaxy frothy top powder, with marshmallows but no cream.
Another thing I make full use of is fluffy socks. I love wearing fluffy socks to keep my feet warm, and if my feet are warm, I find that I stay nice and warm!
Another thing that is definitely a Christmas essential is glittery nail varnish. I feel like there's no better time than Christmas to wear glittery nail varnish, especially because you can leave it on for several days as there's no school/college etc.

An Audience With Union J
As we were waiting for the M&G George came through the door, and hugged someone stood next to the door. When I had finally reached the front of the line, and it was my turn, and my heart was racing!! I gave security my phone, so they could take pictures whilst I was meeting them. Josh was first, and he came over to me and gave me a hug, he noticed that I had a letter in my hand and asked if it was for them. He took the letter from me, and I told him that it was from a friend in Venezuela, and JJ overheard, and they both said 'wow'. George heard them replying to me and said 'what was that?' and JJ said 'It's from a friend from Venezuela'. I then went on to JJ, and gave him a huge hug. As I was coming out of the hug from JJ, George opened his arms for me. So I walked over to George and gave him a hug. George then said 'ready for a photo' and pulled me to the side, both of us keeping hold of each others waist. They then took the photo, and I was directed to the other side of the room where I was given my goody bag, which had my t-shirt, signed photo and wristband in a tote bag.
This was an amazing night, and I enjoyed it loads!! I hope they do their next tour like this!!!

Talent Fest: Union J Concert Review
This year, at Talent Fest UK, Union J were doing a special performance for them near where I live, and so I jumped at the opportunity and booked tickets. This concert was held somewhere I had never been before for a concert, but was a lovely building once inside.
I was lucky enough to get front row, and got some good pictures because of that! Although this meant I had security stood right in front of me, but they were really nice, and offered water to us all. Although it was such a small crowd, it didn't seem like it when it came to the singing, or chanting! I think it just made the whole concert seem more intimate, and made me enjoy it a little more too! I very nearly met them outside, as I waited for them to come out after the concert, but two members of security stood in front of me, preventing me from seeing them, and them from seeing me, however, I'm lucky enough to know that I will meet them next month!
Get ready for the rant!! Although the concert (especially the Union J part) itself was really good, I was disappointed by everything else. There was lots of staff around, but not many doing their job. There was no-one that was on the information desk, telling us we needed to get wristbands, and the staff at the box office were no more helpful! When we finally went to get wristbands, there was no-one there to get one from, and not once did anyone check that we actually had tickets!

Not many of you will know that I am a complete and utter tumblr addict, and when I discovered a way to keep me motivated, whilst on tumblr was a great revolution for me! Therefore, I created by studyblr - http://studentlivinglife.tumblr.com/

Back to.... haul
So for me, college starts again on Monday (7th September) and so I though I'd share with you all the things that I bought/take with me. This year, I didn't need to buy much as most of my equipment from last year was still in good condition! The only things I did buy, were a new folder, a bag, a planner, some plastic wallets, and some dividers. I got all the stationary from whsmiths, you can find the folder here. and the wallets and dividers are just standard, but you can also find them on the website. I got the bag from Dorothy perkins, for £28. It's a really good size and has two zippers and 3 pockets inside the bag, you can find it here!
Other things that will be coming with me to college, are notepads, my pencil case, which I have several black pens and a couple of red pens, my highlighters, a pencil and a sharpener and a rubber in. I always make sure I have my headphones for those bus journeys, and a lipbalm, especially durng winter!
Thanks for reading this post, make sure to comment what's in your bag/what your take with you!!

August Favourites
So my first favourite this month has to be photography! I've had plenty of opportunities to get out and about with my camera, and I have been loving it! I've been able to get some good photos as well, which I'm rather proud of!
Which nicely leads me onto my next favourite which has been sunsets. I have seen some beautiful sunsets this month, and I've been loving taking photos of these!.
I've been loving the Zoella Beauty products as well, especially the body sprays, they smell amazing!!! You can look at the range here!
I've also been loving reading, the last book I read was 'Shopaholic to the stars' which I loved. I've read most of the other books in this series, and loved them! here you can get this book and look at the book better. It follows the story of Becky Brandon, who moves to Hollywood with her family.
One thing I've enjoyed the most is having time off! I've not had much free time this year with college work! It's been nice to not have to worry about doing any work.

Hey!
Long time, no post. Sorry about that! I've not really had much to post about and I've started studying for my QTS Tests next year! http://studentlivinglife.tumblr.com/ is my URL, it will take a while for me to start posting regularly, and just like my blog, I will post when I feel it's relevant and when I have something to share with you.
Thanks!!

Lynton And Lynmouth
Although there aren't many tourist attractions that we visited, we went on many walks around the area, from seaside strolls to uphill woodland areas, we were never short of a place to walk and a new area to explore. We often walked around the small town and did a spot of window shopping, admiring the paintings and photographs of the local area. Lynton and Lynmouth is a perfect place to travel with a camera, with a new shot almost every where you travel and beautiful views surrounding you, your memory card, will soon fill up!
We often watched the sunset, and travelled to different areas (Valley Of Rocks, Lynmouth beach) to get different angles and different point of views of the spectacular show known as the sunset.

My Holiday Essentials!
This year we are staying in a small coastal village in the south of the United Kingdom. I thought I could share with you some of my holiday essentials, especially if your going on holiday within the UK.
1. I bring my portable charger with me. It means that at least one of us will have a charged phone, and if anyone at home needs to contact us, there is always someone with the ability to be contacted.
2. I always bring my headphones, as it means that I can listen to my own choice of music when were travelling somewhere.
3. Range of clothes, pack for almost every weather is essential when travelling in the UK, no matter what the weather forecast I always pack for rain or shine!
4. We always bring a bunch of snacks for the journey there and back. It means that if anyone gets a little hungry, they can easily get something to eat, we usually get some sweets and also bring some fruits.
5. One thing I love doing when on holiday, is taking photos. It allows memories to be captured and shared, and also, show family and friends what we got up to, and where we went.
6. Comfortable shoes are essential, especially for days out. It means your feet won't get sore as quickly, and you will enjoy the day out more.
7. I always bring a book with me on holiday, it gives me something to do when at the beach, or when we are lounging around at the end of a day.
I hope these holiday essentials have helped some of you, and given you inspiration for what to pack/take with you on your travelling adventures!

She's Kinda Hot -5SOS
She's kinda hot is the new song by 5 Seconds Of Summer. This song is one of my favourite songs, and has some really good lyrics and the vocals are as always incredible!Personally I'd give this song a 4.5 out of 5! It makes me so excited for their new album, and seeing them live again on their next tour!
I also enjoyed the lead up to the song. If your not a fan of 5SOS, you won't know what I'm on about. So basically, they did a 5onthewall one day, and then each day following this they posted another video that had a clue about what the big announcement was alongside a countdown. On the day of the countdown finish we had a livestream of almost 2 hours watching someone spray paint the artwork onto a wall. I enjoyed searching for clues, and though it was a very creative and interactive way of announcing the single!

Zoella Beauty -Tutti Fruity Review
As soon as these products came out, me and my mum took a trip to our local superdrug.
These are the products from Zoe's new range that I purchased! I got the body scrub, the fizz bar, the lip balm, the body cream and the body spray. I love the scent of the range, and I love how strong the scent is throughout the entire range. I also love that this range hasn't been tested on animals and so is animal cruelty free!
I love this product. It's called 'Candy Cream, softening body lotion' and is being sold at £5. This product has extracts of Accai which contains lots of vitamin C, which is an antioxidant. It also contains Blueberry extract which is supposed to have anti-ageing properties. I used this product on my legs, alongside the body scrub, and they combined have left my legs feeling very soft. It has also moisturised my legs very heavily.
With this product a little goes a very long way! You have had warning! I think I used a little too much, and so it took a while to dry and soak into the skin, but once it did my legs felt super soft, and smelt lovely.
I have dry and sensitive skin, and this product didn't leave me in rashes, or with irritated skin, it seems to have helped with the dryness of my skin, and is a fantastic product!
I also love the packaging! The colours go really nicely together, and compliment the product
perfectly!
This products is called 'Lets Spritz! Fragranced body mist' and is being sold for £8. This product also is supposed to have extracts of Accai and Blueberry, as I'm sure Zoe said, that all her range has Blueberry and Accai extracts.
I love the scent of this product, and it is very long lasting! Hours after I have sprayed this onto my skin, I can still smell it, although it does wear off, and isn't as strong.
I love the packaging on this product. The colours work really well, and I love that as well as her last body mist, you can see the pattern on the back through the packaging, as it is such a beautiful pattern.
This is Zoella's 'Scrubbing me softly, soothing body scrub' which is being sold at £7. This product also has extracts of Accai and Blueberry, but also has cocoa butter. Cocoa butter can soothe sensitive skin, and is also an antioxidant.

I again love the packaging of this product! The yellow and the pink are such a beautiful choice, and really work well together!
Again, with this product I found that a little goes a long way, and you don't need to use a lot to cover a small area, which is great because it means that it lasts longer!
This is the 'Fresh Fizz, fragranced bath fizzer' which is being sold at £5. Again, this has extracts of accai and Blueberry. This left my bath smelling superb, and made my bath all the more relaxing. It doesn't leave your bath a different colour, which I would love, but you do get a gorgeous smell!

You only need to use one block per bath I find, but obviously, it depends on how much you fill your bath/ how big your bath is.
This is 'Kissy Missy, lip balm' which is being sold at £3. I love the colour of this, and it is super pigmented! You can have a slight tint if you only put a little on, or you can build it up, to create a beautiful barbie pink on your lips! It is really hydrating, and leaves your lips feeling really nice.

OOTD - Summer Style
My next go to summer outfit is a classic play suit. I decided to pair my black and white floral play suit with a large purple bag, and some nude and black ballet shoes.
My shoes are quite old and I'm not too sure where they are from, but I think they are from New Look. My play suit is from New Look, and is very comfortable and light weight! My sunglasses are from Primark, and are amazing value for money at just £2. and they come with a cloth case. my bag is from New Look, and is the perfect size for college or school, as it fits in a large folder and other bits and pieces such as your dinner! I love this outfit, as it is very comfortable and practical, although I would maybe swap the bag, but I choose it as it comfortable fits in my camera, and since it was a hot day, I also needed a few other essentials such as water and sun-cream!!
My shoes are quite old and I'm not too sure where they are from, but I think they are from New Look. Hello there!
Hello there!
My name is Becky and I'm a 17 year old who has very few hobbies but some I would love to share with you. I would also love to share the hints and tips I have learnt about anything and everything. I thought I'd start this blog with a short post introducing myself to you! So I'm going to tell you some facts about me :)
1. I enjoy reading, I tend to read romantic books or comedies and I have my favourite authors, but you'll soon find out who they are through my reviews.
2. I am working towards becoming a teacher (I'm in college and will be going to university in 2016).
3. I paint my nails...a lot! You will soon see that I paint them a lot and will post some reviews and some tutorials for you soon!
4. I also love take photos. I enjoy taking photos of nature and the local scenery, as I live in the countryside!
5. I am a huge fan of 5 seconds of summer and union j! I am also a fan of Ariana Grande :)
It's actually really hard to think of facts about myself! But it's just a small introduction to me and some of what you can expect of this blog! I may also post some content about youtubers as I'm also a fan of many youtubers!
